Amer Gašević

Amer Gašević has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting in 2013, Amer worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, where they were responsible for introducing students to various aspects of Information Systems.

In 2013, Amer also joined Raiffeisen Bank as a part-time employee, where they gained knowledge and experience in risk retail modeling. Amer successfully completed a scorecard development process using SAS and SQL skills.

In 2014, Amer joined Authority Partners Inc. as a Quality Assurance Analyst and later transitioned into the role of Quality Assurance Architect. Their responsibilities included system stabilization, upgrade, analysis, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, verification, triage, release support, and deployment management. Amer also worked on a major mortgage initiative, collaborating closely with development teams and utilizing agile methodologies.

Amer continued their career at Symphony.is in 2017, initially as a QA Automation Engineer and later taking on the role of Product Owner and Service Delivery Manager in 2019.

During their time at Symphony.is, Amer also worked as an External QA Lead Engineer at Online Business Booster from 2020 to 2021. Amer then joined A Place for Mom as an External Lead QA Consultant from 2020 to 2021.

In 2021, Amer became an External QA Lead Automation Consultant at metadata.io.

Throughout their career, Amer has demonstrated strong expertise in quality assurance and automation, as well as experience in product ownership and service delivery management.

Amer Gašević earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science from the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. In 2015, they enrolled at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo, where they pursued a Master's degree in IT Project Management. However, the end year for their Master's degree program was not provided. In addition to their formal education, Amer Gašević obtained professional certifications, including the ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH in June 2016 and the ISO 9001:2015 Course Transition for Internal Auditor from Agency QS in May 2016.
