Ann Smiley

Ann Smiley has had a long and varied career in the media and publishing industries. Ann began their career in 1986 as the Membership/Newsletter Coordinator for the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce. In 1987, they were hired as the Director of Communications for the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and also worked as a Lazergraphics Specialist for AlphaGraphics. Later that same year, they began freelancing as a Production Artist/Designer for ETR Associates, and in 1996 they became the Art Director for ToucanEd. From 2014 to 2020, Ann worked for Cracked as a Senior Editor and Macro Artist. Most recently, Ann has been working for Metafy as a Community Support Specialist and Social Media Coordinator.

Ann Smiley received their high school diploma from Monte Vista High School in 1982, after attending from 1978. Ann then attended the University of the Pacific, where they obtained a BA in Communications: Print and a BA in Art in 1985.
