John Graff brings a deep background in semiconductor and photonic device fabrication to his role as VP of Engineering at Metalenz. Most recently John served as Director of Solar Technology at Applied Materials, where he was responsible for developing novel fabrication process technology and product roadmaps for high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells. As the third employee of MIT spin-off Luminus Devices, John was the principal device engineer for the world’s highest power LEDs, enabled by photonic crystal nanopatterning.
He was the engineering program manager during the successful product launch into demanding consumer electronics markets. John holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, and is a co-inventor on 30 issued US patents.
