Lorne Sugarman

Lorne Sugarman has had a long and varied career in the business world. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Metaverse Group and Iocaste Ventures Inc. Lorne also became a Mentor at Creative Destruction Lab. In 2017, they began working as a Principal at KES 7 Capital Inc, and in 2021 they were appointed Non Executive Chairman of Oncidium. From 2012 to 2019, they were Executive Chairman, President and CEO, President, and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development at Wellpoint Health Services. In 2019, they became a Board Member at Mavencare. From 1997 to 2012, they were Managing Director, Investment Banking at GMP Securities. Lastly, from 1994 to 1997, they were a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting.

Lorne Sugarman received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Western University from 1989 to 1991.
