Ed Hoffmann

Ed Hoffmann serves as the Large Structures Lab Manager at Metcut Research Inc. since July 2022, leading the development of the structures lab with a focus on people leadership, technological advancement, and business growth. Prior to this role, Hoffmann was the Test & Evaluation Manager at NJVC-LLC overseeing compliance for a major USAF acquisition program. Spanning over three decades at GE Aviation, Hoffmann held multiple leadership positions, including Business Development Leader, Advanced Test Technology Leader, Test Measurements Systems Leader, and Evendale Test Operations Leader, where key responsibilities included developing strategic initiatives, improving test operations, and managing teams. Hoffmann's educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New York University. Additionally, Hoffmann contributed as Co-Chairman of the Propulsion Instrumentation Working Group, advocating for advancements in turbine engine test cell technologies.
