Jeff Wilson

Jeff Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jeff began their career at Turnpike Properties, Inc as an Assistant Controller/Accountant, where they managed budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting for various real estate development projects.

Jeff then transitioned to US Airways, where they held multiple roles such as Senior Manager of Passenger Sales Revenue Accounting and Acting Manager of General Accounting. In these positions, they oversaw global ticket sales processing, implemented automated revenue accounting solutions, and managed month-end closing analysis and financial statements.

Afterwards, Wilson worked at Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) as a Senior Manager of Product Marketing and Development. Their responsibilities included marketing revenue accounting products used by global airlines and managing development projects for these products.

Wilson then joined United Airlines, where they served as a Portfolio Manager/Business Technology Consultant and later as a Director of IT Application Development for Finance Systems. In these roles, they led teams to deliver strategic finance solutions, controlled budgets, and maintained excellent data security standards.

Currently, Wilson is employed at Metra Commuter Rail, where they have held various positions such as Director of Revenue Accounting and eCommerce, Director of Revenue Accounting and Acting Director of Payroll, and Senior Director of Revenue Accounting and Payroll. In these roles, they have directed the accounting, collection, and reconciliation of ticket sales and revenue recognition, as well as payroll preparation for over 2,600 employees. Jeff has also led the transition to new ERP systems and managed credit card settlement activities.

Jeff Wilson earned their B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Employee Relations from Lenoir-Rhyne University between 1978 and 1982.
