David Austin

David has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare/Medical Device sales and leadership.

Before joining Metrasens in 2019 as Vice-President, US Healthcare Safety, he served 4 years at Siemens Healthineers as Area Vice President. Prior to Siemens, David spent nearly seven years in expanding sales leadership and training roles at Hologic, including Director of Sales, MRI and Ultrasound Divisons where his teams demonstrated significant growth. David has spent his entire career managing the sales of medical equipment for clinical diagnostics, surgical and biomedical research. He has his B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Missouri – Columbia, and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
