Rod has more than 25 years’ experience in high technology product development.

Rod joined Metrasens in 2019 and has more than 25 years’ experience in high technology product development in the security, health and safety markets. Before joining Metrasens, Rod led the development and program teams at Smiths Detection for the provision of the current in-service Chemical Warfare Agent Detector for the US, UK and wider NATO militaries. As VP Products at Smiths Detection, Rod led the definition of the product strategy for wider security markets, managed major product development programs and multi-million pound supply contracts.
