Habiba -

Habiba has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Habiba is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Metric since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft as a Cloud Solution Architect - Data & AI from January 2021 to March 2023. Habiba also has experience as a Research Engineer at CSIRO's Data61 from October 2018 to January 2021, and as a Data Scientist at OTTO GmbH & Co KG from September 2017 to April 2018. Habiba worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Konstanz from September 2013 to September 2017, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2010 to July 2013. Habiba also had a research internship at Microsoft Research from May 2012 to August 2012. Their earlier work experience includes being a Software Engineer at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST) from May 2004 to June 2005, and a QA Engineer at And-Or Logic from 2003 to 2004.

Habiba has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Habiba earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they attended from 1999 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a higher level of education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago. Habiba attended this institution from 2005 to 2013.

In addition to their degrees, Habiba has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. These certifications include the Women Rising Program from Women Rising, completed in August 2022. Habiba has also completed several specialization courses through Coursera, including AWS Fundamentals, TensorFlow in Practice, Data Science: Foundations using R, Deep Learning, Data Visualization with Python, Introduction to Data Science in Python, and Machine Learning. These certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2020. This diverse educational background suggests Habiba's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the computer science field.
