Joana R. has a diverse work experience starting in 2018 as a Barista at Costa Coffee, where they were responsible for customer service, food and drink preparation, cashier duties, and maintaining cleanliness. In 2019, they interned as an Associated Researcher at INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, contributing to a research project on detecting and characterizing CTCs in breast cancer patients. Joana assisted with designing and fabricating microfluidic devices and performing immunofluorescence staining.
