Karen Collins

Karen Collins is an experienced instructional system designer and consultant with a diverse background spanning various roles in instructional design. Currently serving as an Instructional System Designer at Metris Global and as a Senior Design Consultant at Alacrity Learning, LLC, since 2018, Karen also contributes to Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC, focusing on government healthcare management training solutions. Previous experience includes developing technical training materials at Europ Assistance USA and freelancing as an instructional designer, game designer, and digital artist. Karen began an academic career as an instructor at the University of Baltimore, teaching game design and social media. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Education, Learning & Technology from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Simulation and Digital Entertainment from the University of Baltimore.
