Louis-Carl Melançon, MBA has a diverse work experience in the procurement and sales fields within the food industry. Louis-Carl is currently working as the National Procurement Director - Fresh Meats at Metro Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Olymel, including Directeur des ventes, Viandes Fraîches - Volaille from 2018 to 2022, Gestionnaire de comptes - Viandes Fraîches - Volaille from 2020 to 2022, and Gestionnaire de comptes - Viandes Fraîches - Porc from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Olymel, they worked at Metro Inc. as the Chef Acheteur Fruits & Légumes from 2018 to 2018 and as the Approvisionneur Viandes Fraîches from 2013 to 2018.

Louis-Carl Melançon, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they attended École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) from 2013 to 2017. Louis-Carl obtained their DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) with a specialization in Administration et gestion des affaires, général from Collège Bois-de-Boulogne, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
