Cookie J. Brand is an experienced school counselor at Metro Deaf School since January 2018 and has been actively involved with the National Black Deaf Advocates as a BlackDeaf Womxn Foundation Councilor since August 2023. Additionally, Cookie has served as the President of the St. Paul & Minneapolis Black Deaf Advocates since January 2020. Cookie's background includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer focused on deaf education from October 2001 to December 2003. Cookie J.
