Kimberly Johnson

Kimberly Johnson is a highly experienced nurse practitioner currently employed at Metro Infectious Disease Consultants since May 2020. Previously, Kimberly served as a CRNP at Decatur Infectious Disease from September 2017 to April 2020 and worked as an ICU/CCU Registered Nurse at Decatur Morgan Hospital from March 2011 to September 2017. Additional nursing experience includes positions as an ICU/CCU Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic Health System and as a PCCU Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. Kimberly began nursing career as an Orthopedic Unit Charge Nurse at Jackson/Madison County General Hospital, progressing through various roles including Cardiac Step Down Unit Charge Nurse at Martin Memorial Medical Center. Kimberly holds a Master’s Degree in Adult-Geronotology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University.
