Onur Akbiyik

Onur Akbiyik is a skilled professional with extensive experience in internal purchasing and technical operations, currently serving as the Internal Purchasing & Technical Operation Senior Manager at METRO Türkiye since August 2017. With a strong background in Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies, Onur has held various roles, including Internal Purchasing Manager and Continuous Improvement Assistant Manager, where expertise in project management, customer experience, process design, and training has been demonstrated, notably training 400 mid to high-level executives. Prior to METRO Türkiye, Onur worked at ÇİMSA as a Process Improvement Senior Executive, at Ekol Sanayi Sistemleri as an R&D Engineer, and at NanoMagnetics Instruments as a Research and Development Engineer. Onur holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gazi University and a diploma in education from the Game Changers Leadership Development Program at Sabanci University.
