Selmin Sahin

Selmin Sahin, LL.M, serves as the Data Protection Officer and Senior Executive Legal Counsel at METRO Türkiye since September 2021, offering strategic legal guidance to senior management and drafting essential legal documents. Previously, Selmin held various legal positions at Japan Tobacco International from January 2020 to September 2021, including Legal Counsel and Legal Analyst Associate, focusing on contract management. Earlier experience includes roles as a Lawyer at Değirmenci Hukuk Bürosu and as a Trainee Lawyer at Moral & Partners. Selmin began the legal career as a Summer Legal Intern at JTI and other firms. Selmin holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights and a Bachelor of Laws from Dokuz Eylul University.
