Maryam Dorafshar

Maryam Dorafshar started their career as a Lawyer at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in June 2004 and remained in that role until November 2014. Maryam then joined Metrolinx in November 2014 as a Legal Counsel and later became a Senior Legal Counsel in November 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Legal Services at Metrolinx, starting in July 2020.

Maryam Dorafshar obtained their LLB degree in Law from Western University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2005. Maryam also holds an Hon. B.A. degree in French Linguistics and Italian from the University of Toronto. No specific dates are provided for their studies at the University of Toronto.
