The Legal and Compliance team at Metrolinx is responsible for ensuring that the agency operates within the laws and regulations applicable to public transportation in Ontario. They provide legal counsel on various matters, oversee permits and licenses, and manage compliance with operational standards. Additionally, the team conducts audits and addresses legal issues related to property acquisition and preconstruction services, supporting Metrolinx's initiatives to enhance transit services in the Greater Toronto Area.
