Rita Singhal

Rita Singhal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rita is currently serving as the Director of Medicaid, Operations Administration at MetroPlusHealth since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at Visiting Nurse Service of New York from November 2018 to September 2021.

Before joining Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Rita worked at EmblemHealth from April 2013 to October 2018. Their role involved being the lead product specialist and subject matter expert for government-sponsored Medicaid products. Rita also played a pivotal role in driving the operational implementation of Medicaid products and ensuring compliance with state-regulated initiatives.

Prior to EmblemHealth, Rita worked at UnitedHealth Group as a Product Consultant - Medicare. During their tenure from 2011 to 2012, they contributed to various projects including creating operational support documentation and drafting business requirements for an application aimed at creating Patient Assessment Forms on a mobile platform.

Rita's career also includes their entrepreneurial endeavor as the Founder of Cabochon Corporation. From 2000 to 2011, they established and successfully managed five retail consumer goods outlets in the Western NY region, achieving significant revenue growth and consistent profitability.

Rita Singhal obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan University. In addition to their formal education, Rita Singhal has also completed the CELTA - Certificate of English Language Teaching program through Cambridge Teaching House and the Jensen Leadership Program offered by the University of Rochester and Harvard Business School.
