Thomas H. O'Brien

Thomas H. O'Brien has extensive work experience in compliance and consultancy roles within the financial industry. Thomas H. is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Metropolitan Commercial Bank since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dime Community Bank as the Senior Vice President and Director of Regulatory Compliance for three years from August 2018 to May 2021.

From 2013 to 2018, O'Brien worked at Capco as a Principal Consultant in the Northeast Region. Thomas H. also held the position of Vice President in the Compliance Testing Group at Goldman Sachs from November 2010 to May 2013. Before that, they briefly worked as a Compliance Manager at ICS Risk Advisors in 2010.

Thomas H. O'Brien completed their Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and International Management, from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College, graduating in 1992.
