Amy Peak

Amy Peak is a human resources professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. Amy currently serves as the Director of Employee Relations & Engagement at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City.

Amy began their career in 1988 as an Administrative Aide at the Mid-America Regional Council. In this role, they provided administrative support to two supervisors and a staff of six employees. Amy also worked in the Transportation department, which included Meals on Wheels program support.

In 1989, Amy took a position as Human Resources Director at Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for advising and working with senior management and department supervisors on a variety of human resources issues. Amy also oversees all areas of human resources, including talent acquisition, compensation, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Prior to their current role, Amy served as the Director of Finance for Lyric Opera of Kansas City. In this role, they were responsible for financial management, human resources, and facilities. Amy oversaw the annual budgeting and planning process, coordinated the annual audit, and managed all areas of human resources.

Amy Peak has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Central Missouri and an Associate of Arts from Maple Woods Community College.
