Samuel Limerick

Samuel Limerick is a Senior Data Scientist at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities since November 2023, following an internship as a Transportation Planning and Programs Intern with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, where relevant research and data visualizations were developed to inform transportation funding decisions. Prior roles include a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, contributing to urban sustainability research and teaching undergraduate courses, and serving as VP of Finance for the Inter-Cooperative Council, overseeing financial operations and governance. Additional experience encompasses internships focused on climate resilience, data analysis, and business intelligence, paired with an academic background that includes a Master’s in Environment & Sustainability and Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's in Economics and Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.
