Trustee at Metropolitan Hospital

Mary Dale has been a Trustee at Metropolitan Hospital since November 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Mission Point Healthcare System from October 2016 to November 2019. From September 2015 to September 2016, Ms. Dale was the Human Resources Director at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. During their time at Pine Rest, they were responsible for conducting needs assessments, work flow analysis, and staff performance analysis to achieve short and long term operational and financial goals and objectives. Mary also consulted with physicians and clinical coordinators on the design and structure of their departments to ensure that patient care standards were being met and to ensure there was buy-in and alignment from staff to optimize productivity. In addition, Ms. Dale established and monitored staff performance and development goals, assigned accountabilities, set objectives, established priorities, conducted annual performance appraisals, and administered salary adjustments.

Mary Dale completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Speech Communication and Psychology from Ferris State University. Mary then went on to earn their PHR designation from Davenport University, and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida. Mary is also certified by USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace, and by the HR Certification Institute - HRCI as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Finally, they have also earned their SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM.
