Amandeep Gill

Senior Lead - Occupational Health & Wellbeing Services at Metropolitan Police

Amandeep Gill has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career as a Project Coordinator and Development Manager at Newham Asian Women's Project, where they focused on mental health programs for young women. They then worked as a Community Development Adviser at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, where they implemented initiatives to improve mental health identification and support. Amandeep then transitioned to the Women & Girls Network, where they held various roles, including Clinical Services Development Manager and Advice Service Manager. During this time, they managed trauma-focused therapeutic services and a sexual violence helpline. Amandeep also served as a Grants Officer at BBC Children in Need. Most recently, they joined Save the Children UK as an Organisational Wellbeing Manager, responsible for developing and implementing the organization's Wellbeing Strategy. They are currently working as a Senior Lead in Occupational Health & Wellbeing Services at Metropolitan Police. Overall, Amandeep Gill has extensive experience in the mental health sector with a strong focus on trauma support and wellbeing management.

Amandeep Gill completed a BA degree in Psychosocial Studies from The School of Psychology, University of East London, from 1997 to 2001. Later, in 2009, Amandeep obtained a Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling from Regent's University London. Amandeep continued their education and received a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of East London School of Psychology, graduating in 2012.
