Darren Baxter is a retired Police Chief Inspector with extensive experience at the Metropolitan Police from 1994 to the present. As Chief Inspector and Crime Prevention Lead, Darren spearheaded projects in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service, enhancing public engagement and confidence while managing a diverse team of 80 staff and 4,000 volunteers. Earlier roles included Inspector, where Darren led a team of 200 in partnership and neighbourhood policing, and Police Sergeant, where proactive community relationships were established to tackle crime effectively. Darren began a career in law enforcement as a Police Constable after serving as a Guardsman in the British Army from 1989 to 1994.
