Carolyn Hartl is an accomplished Affiliate Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver, teaching in-person history college courses and developing customized lectures, assignments, and exams. Demonstrating a commitment to enhancing student learning, Hartl actively collaborates with the MSU Denver Access Center to support divergent learners and stays informed on current historical debates. Additionally, as a Writing Center Professional Consultant, Hartl assists students through all phases of the writing process, focuses on supporting first-generation and bilingual students, and has contributed to the linguistic diversity team. Hartl's previous experience includes teaching a diverse range of learners in various Denver Public Schools from August 2002 to March 2013. Hartl holds a Master of Arts in History from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
