Jim Altman

Jim Altman is an experienced finance and accounting professional currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver, teaching auditing to senior accounting students. As Chief Financial Officer at Welch Equipment Company since December 2018, Jim leads finance, HR, and IT functions. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer for Builders and Howell Construction, and Director of Finance/Controller at ADA-ES. Additionally, Jim has served as a Senior Manager at Clifton Gunderson LLP and has experience as a Contract Financial Resource Provider. Jim is also a High School Football Official with the Colorado Football Officials Association, officiating games in the Denver Metro area. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from the University of Denver and a BA in Accounting and Business Management from Anderson University.
