Nima Nouri

Nima Nouri is an accomplished data science and bioinformatics professional currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Northeastern University since September 2025 and as Director of Data Science at AstraZeneca since February 2025, focusing on machine learning and AI for therapeutic discovery in oncology. Previously, Nima held the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Sanofi from October 2021 to February 2025, leading a computational team in single-cell biology for precision medicine. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, specializing in computational biology and immunological bioinformatics. Nima's academic background features a PhD in Physics and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
