Matthew Maher is an accomplished aviation professional and educator with extensive experience in military and civilian aviation roles. Currently serving as a Pilot Instructor at United Airlines since August 2021, Maher is responsible for training top airline pilots. In addition, Maher is an Adjunct Aerospace Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver and holds leadership positions as President and former Director of the Timbers Metropolitan District Board. Maher has a robust military background, including a tenure as Navy Commander where advanced jet instruction and large organizational leadership were key responsibilities. Notable previous roles include Commanding Officer at Training Squadron Two One, Combat Aircraft Consultant at Boeing, and Deputy Director for Science and Technology at United States Northern Command.
