Tim Heitsch

Tim Heitsch is a highly experienced manager and operations industrial engineer with a focus on continuous improvement in airport facilities, currently serving as Manager of the Airport Maintenance Department and the Operations Industrial Engineering Department at Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority since November 2017. Responsibilities include optimizing the travel experience at Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport through process improvements and system enhancements. Prior experience includes independent consulting in project management and asset management, as well as over 20 years of service as a Senior Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, where significant expertise was gained in facility management and maintenance engineering. Tim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics from respected institutions.
