Kang Chingmei

Kang Chingmei has extensive experience in various roles focused on education, legal services, and customer care. Currently serving as Treasurer at the Metropolitan Opera since July 2014, Kang Chingmei is responsible for collecting funds for the poor and needy. Additional positions include Lawyer at John Grisham, preparing legal documents for corporate clients and low-income families, and Air Hostess at Singapore Airlines, providing service to passengers on international flights. Kang Chingmei also contributes as a Para-educator at Metropolitan YMCA Singapore, teaching Mathematics to children ages 3 to 12, and previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Thye Hwa Kwan, supporting young children in a childcare environment. Educated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Education from Chapman University, Kang Chingmei demonstrates a strong commitment to education and community service.
