Carlo Scarioni

Carlo Scarioni has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carlo is currently working at Mettle as a Lead Data Engineer since December 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Mettle from September 2022 to December 2023. Before joining Mettle, Carlo worked at Simply Business as a Staff Data Engineer from September 2018 to October 2022. Carlo also had a previous role at Simply Business as a Senior Software Developer / Data Engineer from August 2013 to October 2022, where they were involved in various data-related projects utilizing technologies such as Spark, MongoDB, and Kinesis. In addition to their data engineering roles, Carlo was the Owner of Bricks 4 Kidz / Kingston - Surrey from February 2014 to August 2016. Before that, they worked at Gamesys as a Senior Software Developer from June 2012 to August 2013 and as a Java Sr Agile Developer from October 2010 to March 2012. Carlo started their career at Indra as a Java EE Architect from May 2008 to July 2009, followed by roles as a Java EE Architect at Virtual Desk from December 2007 to May 2008, a Java Architect at M&GT from June 2007 to December 2007, and a Java Analyst/Developer at Protokol GIT from February 2006 to February 2007.

Carlo Scarioni obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela between 1999 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Reactive Architecture, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, IBM SOA Certified Associate, Spring Source Certified Professional, Sun Certified Business Component developer, and Sun certified Java Programmer.
