Andreas Held

Andreas Held is a seasoned software project manager with extensive experience in leading development teams across several countries, including China, the Philippines, Belarus, Russia, and Switzerland. Currently serving as a Senior SW Project Manager at Mettler Toledo since November 2008, Andreas manages the software development of precision and analytical balances, overseeing teams of up to twenty members. Previous roles include Project Leader at BridgeCo, where software projects for consumer electronics were managed, and Senior Project Leader at BBP AG, focusing on J2EE projects. Andreas has a strong background in image processing and algorithm development from positions at Swiss Imaging Technologies AG and Gretag Imaging. A holder of a PhD and MSc in Computer Engineering from Shizuoka University, along with a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Andreas combines technical expertise with strategic project management skills.
