Phil Hale

Phil Hale has over 17 years of experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager for the Platform engineering team at Mews since January 2024. Prior to Mews, Phil held similar management roles at Brightcove, DAZN, and MindGym, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams and managing diverse projects utilizing various technologies such as Typescript, Node, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. Earlier career highlights include significant contributions to Tombola.co.uk as a Lead Developer and roles at GSK and Salesforce where Phil enhanced security infrastructure and led software development initiatives. Phil holds a Master's Degree in Computer Aided Graphical Technology Applications and a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, both from Teesside University.
