Mikko Vänskä

Mikko Vänskä is an experienced technology and process expert in laser technology, currently serving as the Head of Laser Laboratory at Meyer Turku since January 2016, where responsibilities include leading laser technology, welding, and safety initiatives. Prior to this role, Mikko Vänskä was self-employed during a parental leave in 2015 and worked as a Doctoral Student and Lecturer at LUT University from December 2010 to December 2014. Additional experience includes a visiting researcher position at Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge and a Project Engineer role at OSTP Group, among other positions. Mikko Vänskä holds a Doctor of Science in Technology degree from LUT University, earned through collaboration with IFSW University of Stuttgart, specializing in laser processing.
