Sunil Yadav

Sunil Yadav is the Senior Vice President at MFA Financial. Sunil has been with the company since January 2008 and served as the First Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager before being promoted to their current position.

Yadav began their career in the financial industry at Banc of America Securities where they worked as an RMBS Trading Strategist from June 2005 to December 2007. In this role, they were responsible for writing weekly research reports and subject primers on Agency and Non-Agency MBS and structured products.

Yadav’s extensive experience in the financial sector has made him an invaluable asset to MFA Financial. Sunil's knowledge and expertise have helped the company to grow and prosper.

Sunil Yadav has an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur. Sunil is currently a Research Fellow at Caltech.

Sunil Yadav reports to Craig L. Knutson, President & CEO. They work with Terence B. Meyers - Senior Vice President and Director of Tax, Harold E. Schwartz - Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, and Stephen D. Yarad - Chief Financial Officer.
