Maz Chaponda

Maz designed and built the MFS platform from the ground up. He began his career at MALSWITCH, the national switch for Malawi, where he led the development and operations of critical financial systems such as EFT Switch, RTGS and ECH. Following the spin-off of MALSWITCH from the Reserve Bank of Malawi, Maz led a team of 26 operation managers and system analysts. He received his MSc. Software Engineering from EPFL (Switzerland) and his MBA from INSEAD. He speaks fluent English and French.
