Sonja Helwick

Head of Partner Support at MFS Africa

Sonja brings many years of experience with her leading large Customer Support Teams at some of Africa’s leading Telco operators such as Cell C and Vodacom, as well as managing multinational vendors, both in the UK and South Africa. She also has worked in the Finance and Investment Banking, Cyber Insurance & Insurance, Property Management and Bursary Management industries. Sonja is deeply passionate about perfecting and continuously improving Customer Experience (CX) processes and building exceptional service teams. Sonja’s mission is empowering and uplifting people through serving, which she refers to as ‘servant leadership’. Sonja is a proud single mom to an exceptional teenage daughter. She joins us fitness folks at MFS Africa - she loves keeping fit and spending time outdoors as a competitive Equestrian Show Jumper and also enjoys mountain biking. She starts every morning in the gym, and in her words, ‘not only to beat commuter traffic but also to set up the day for success.'
