Peter Nicks

Peter Nicks is a skilled quantitative analyst with extensive experience in meteorological analysis and energy trading strategies. Currently employed at MFT Energy since January 2022, Peter utilizes machine learning and statistical analysis to enhance meteorological models and develop trading algorithms. Previous roles include a quantitative weather analyst at InCommodities and an analyst at Danske Commodities, where Peter focused on weather algorithms and operational meteorology. Peter also served as a math consultant at MathResources and an environmental specialist at Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, coordinating research projects and land resource management. Peter holds an Honours Degree with Distinction in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science combining Mathematics and French from Mount Saint Vincent University. Additional education includes studies at Syddansk Universitet and Aarhus University in Denmark, as well as proficiency in Danish.
