Mi9 Retail software company is fully focused on the retail business vertical.  We develop software to address challenging requirements faced by medium to large retail enterprises such as merchandise management, master data, inventory management, sales audit, purchasing and invoicing, retail analytics, and point of sale.

Position Overview
Mi9 Retail is seeking a Project Manager to make a positive  impact with our enterprise clients as part of our Professional Services team.  The Project Manager will drive the implementation of our platform for our clients from start to finish. 

It is a full-time work-from-home position to be located in Ontario.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee retail enterprise software implementation, including gathering requirements, authoring specifications, building task lists, running status reviews and steering committees, managing scope, and anticipating and addressing challenges

  • Hold ownership and accountability for projects, including decisions, actions, and directives, while maintaining a focus on exceptional client care

  • Develop project scope, objectives, deliverables, and budget ensuring that all stakeholders provide input and are in agreement

  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure transparent communication

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with technical stakeholders, outside businesses and related vendors

  • Define and monitor project dependencies, milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure adherence to project requirements.

  • Effectively manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders, and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

What you will bring to the table:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail coupled with high document culture

  • Enterprise software experience – working for a software company as a project manager or implementing a major software package inside an enterprise

  • Ability to thrive when planning projects and working with teams while getting the best out of people that you work with

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between business and technical domains of a software implementation project, providing leadership in both

  • Broad technical knowledge and understanding of core technologies

  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal) and can deliver engaging and thoughtful presentations

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with colleagues

  • Capacity to define and manage priorities

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Positive, energetic, motivated and tenacious work ethic

  • Retail business knowledge is a big plus

  • PMP certification is a plus
