Digital Access Director at Miami Foundation

Jorge H. Gonzalez is the Digital Access Director at The Miami Foundation. He leads the Foundation’s tech equity efforts, anchored by the Miami Connected initiative. Miami Connected is a collective impact initiative focused on ensuring that all students in Miami-Dade County have access to the internet, the skills to make the most of it and accessible pathways to careers in tech.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jorge worked at The Children’s Trust where he managed programs and led projects focused on quality improvement and impact measurement. Jorge was also a part of the Global Shapers Community in Miami, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, where he served as Vice Curator and supported civic engagement efforts. Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the Fordham University. He is also an avid seeker of hidden gems in Downtown and Little Havana.
