David Seidl

David Seidl serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Miami University, a position held since December 2018, where the IT Services division supports the institution's educational mission. Prior to this role, David worked at the University of Notre Dame from January 2007 to November 2018, serving as Senior Director of Campus Technology Services and holding multiple positions including Director of Information Security and Information Security Program Manager. Earlier career experience includes working as an IT Security and Privacy Analyst at Purdue University and as an Assistant Network and Systems Administrator at Grace & Wild, Inc. David holds a Master of Library Science in Information Security and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Technology and Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University. Additional education includes participation in the EDUCAUSE Leadership Institute in 2016 and Derbycon in 2013.
