Bob Whelan

Bob Whelan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of security, networking, and technology management. Currently serving as Manager of Security, Networking & End User Support at MIB Group, Inc., since August 2020, Bob leads a team to enhance corporate culture and modernize technology adoption while ensuring robust security practices. As Principal Consultant and Owner of RHW Consultants since October 2019, Bob provides business and technical analysis to deliver technology solutions and improve operational sustainability. Previously, Bob held the role of Director of Network and Telecommunications Services at Northeastern University for over 24 years, managing a significant operational budget and leading numerous technology initiatives. Early career experience includes managing network and desktop systems at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Bob established connectivity and oversaw technology services. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
