Lisa Bettendorf, MBA, PHR has extensive experience in human resources and office management. Lisa has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Lisa started their career as a Supervisor at Superior National Insurance Company from 1993 to 1997. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a Legal Secretary at Pearlman, Borska & Wax. Lisa then took on the role of Office Manager at Shiney & Fargo from 1999 to 2007, where they managed daily operations and oversaw recruitment and training. In 2007, they joined Carlson & Jayakumar as a Human Resources Manager, where they worked closely with senior management to develop company infrastructure and perform generalist HR functions. From 2007 to 2008, they served as Office Manager at Goldman, Magdalin & Krikes, overseeing daily operations and project management tasks. In 2013, they became the Firm Administrator at Samuelsen, Gonzalez, Valenzuela & Brown, responsible for managing all daily operations, human resources, and finances. Currently, Lisa is the Director of Human Resources at Michael Sullivan & Associates LLP, where they manage employee relations, professional development programs, recruiting, leadership, counseling, and compliance across multiple office locations.

Lisa Bettendorf holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Woodland Hills, which they completed between 2004 and 2006. Lisa also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the same institution, completing it from 2001 to 2003. In 2009 and 2010, Lisa earned a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, specializing in Human Resources Development. Additionally, they obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certificate from the Human Resource Certification Institute in 2010. Lisa has also acquired several additional certifications, including being a SHRM Recertification Provider from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in July 2019, and obtaining the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2010.
