Evan Quesada is currently a Research Assistant at The AAPI COVID-19 Project, where responsibilities include transcribing and organizing interview recordings for thematic analysis. Additionally, Evan serves as a Student Advisor for both The Vanderbilt Project on Unity & American Democracy and the Vanderbilt Asian American Student Association, focusing on promoting unity and engaging in cultural dialogues. As an Executive Committee Member of the Vanderbilt Student Government, Evan works on initiatives to enhance mental and physical health equity among students. In the role of Advocacy Chair for the Philippine Intercultural Student Organization, Evan coordinates events and dialogues related to contemporary Filipino/Filipinx issues. With prior experience as a Sales Associate at Michaels Jewelers and as a Peer Counselor at Notre Dame High School, Evan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law, History, and Society, as well as Gender and Sexuality Studies at Vanderbilt University, having previously graduated from Notre Dame High School.
