AJ Cobb has extensive experience in tax leadership roles, currently serving as Vice President of Tax at Michaels Stores since July 2022. Prior positions include Vice President of Tax at Copart from September 2020 to July 2022 and Vice President of Global Tax at GameStop between June 2014 and September 2020. Earlier, AJ Cobb held the position of Tax Director at Trinity Industries from July 2006 to May 2014 and served as Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP from July 2000 to July 2006. AJ Cobb began a career in taxation as a Tax Associate at KPMG from January 1999 to June 2000. AJ Cobb earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Economics from Baylor University between 1994 and 1998.
