Kevin Updegrove

Kevin Updegrove is an experienced talent management professional currently serving as Vice President of Talent Management at The Michaels Companies, Inc. since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kevin spent over 25 years at JCPenney in various capacities, including Senior Director of Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity & Inclusion, as well as Director of Talent Development, where responsibilities included developing and implementing enterprise training programs and leadership development initiatives. Kevin's career also includes previous positions such as Senior Manager of Talent Development and Human Resources, contributing strategic direction to leadership programs and supporting the supply chain and customer care network. Kevin holds a BS in Classical Studies and Education from Susquehanna University and a certificate in HR Studies from Xavier University.
