Troy Carhart is a Mechanical Project Engineer at Michelin since July 2021 and Co-Owner and Operator at PTAC Designs since May 2020, where firearm grip optimization and market trend application are key responsibilities. Previously, Troy served as a Graduate Assistant at Clemson University, focusing on compliant mechanisms and robotic systems while managing undergraduate classes. Additional experience includes teaching math and science at Sylvan Learning and internships at Woodward, Inc. and Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where Troy contributed to process design and product development. Troy holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, along with a Bachelor’s in Pre-Engineering from Anderson University and a High School Diploma from Minnechaug Regional High School.
