Alexandra Andre is a Supervising Attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, focusing on unaccompanied children's legal issues and co-supervising the Long-Term Foster Care/Unaccompanied Refugee Minors sub-practice. Alexandra previously served as a Staff Attorney, assisting unaccompanied children with immigration relief applications and representing clients in removal proceedings. Prior experiences include roles as a Student Attorney at the Criminal Appellate Practice Clinic and the Human Trafficking Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School, a Law Clerk for the Family Law Project, and a Legal Intern for the Ministry of Justice of Namibia Law Reform & Development Commission. Alexandra earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. in Classical Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan.
