Merrick Weingarten

Merrick Weingarten has extensive work experience in the fields of investment banking, finance, and writing. Merrick started their career as a Summer Intern at StartEngine, where they learned about equity crowdfunding and various tasks related to raising capital. Merrick then worked as a Financial Writing Intern at Benzinga, where they wrote news articles covering breaking news stories and market analysis. Merrick then joined Alidade Capital, LLC as a Real Estate Private Equity Summer Analyst, contributing to the company's investment strategies. Merrick also gained experience as the Managing Editor of The Hawkeye Newspaper, winning several journalism awards and leading the newspaper's staff. Later, Merrick took on multiple roles at Michigan Interactive Investments and Guggenheim Partners, including roles such as Investment Banking Associate and Investment Banking Analyst. At Guggenheim Partners, they successfully completed a summer internship and continued to contribute as an analyst.
